ARROS VOM TONKA HAUS “TONKA” SchH1 CD TC CGC OFA HIPS“EXCELLENT” OFA ELBOWS“NORMAL”
Tonka was our foundation male. He unfortunately passed away on Dec. 14, 2004. He was our great friend and will be greatly missed... We loved you Tonka!!
Tonka was my first German Shepherd. He was a German showline dog. I trained him as my personal protection dog. I started his training when he was 5 months old when I got him and continued working him in personal protection until he was 5 years old. At that time I decided to try the sport of Schutzhund. I got his BH and SchH1 by the time he was 6 years old. He was a great dog. He loved everyone and was totally environmentally sound. He was also narcotics trained. He would alert on Marijuana, cocaine and heroin. I retired him when he was 8. He was a great dog….we still miss him to this day…he was a once in a life time dog. He has left that permanent foot print on my heart.

BRUNO VOM KRAFTIG WESEN "Bruno" TITLES: BH CGC TC OFA HIPS "GOOD ELBOWS "NORMAL"
Bruno was my K9 that I used for security work. Both his parents are SchH3 titled. He was a very friendly dog who loved everyone….but when it is time to get to “work” he was always waiting to go “find the bad guy”. He was a medium sized black and tan male. He loved to go to the lake and fetch the kong in the water…he also loved to just play fetch with the kong too. He was narcotics trained.
D.O.B. June 20, 1997 He passed away July 30, 2009.
Aiko is a West German dark black and tan male that has nice deep color. His hips and elbows are OFA certified. His hips are “good” and his elbows are “normal”. He is a son of Tonka (who was my first Shepherd..see Memorial Page). Aiko is showing good drives for the sport and is working towards his Schutzhund titles. He has a very nice temperament and is social with people….he is good in all environments and is not bothered by loud noises. His favorite game is a good hard game of “tug of war”. He received his BH title on April 27, 2008. The judge, Ernest Hintz, for his BH even stated that Aiko’s nerves were “rock solid”. Aiko has balanced drives and has a great willingness to please me. He has very happy and flashy obedience. His tracking is nice and methodical with a deep nose. In his protection work he is 50/50 defense/prey, with nice full grips and is not equipment oriented.
D.O.B. July 1, 2003 Aiko passed away on March 4, 2012... R.I.P Buddy, I miss you!!
I have frozen semen stored from Aiko.
_________________________________________________________ Aida vom Dukenheim "Xena" TITLES: BH D.O.B May 15, 2006 Xena passed away January 12, 2018
XENA is a dark sable female. Xena is a Erri z Blatenskeho Zamku daughter. She is a combo of Czech and West German working lines. Xena has very high ball drive and very good food drive. She has very nice focus during her obedience and is very willing to work with her handler.
In protection, she has nice full calm grips. She is about 60/40 defense/prey. She is able to switch from prey to defense and vice versa quickly, but still maintains full calm grips. She is not equipment oriented.
Xena also has very high food drive. Her tracking is very nice, she works her tracks well and is clear headed and stays very focused even with distractions. With her high food drive she is very easy to train in tracking! Xena has very fast and happy obedience. She is very easy to train and she will do anything for her toy! She is not a handler hard dog at all, in fact she is handler soft, but will not loose drive if given a fair correction. Her willingness to please in all phases of her work is what makes her such a joy to work and train!
Xena was my "Heart and soul dog".. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think about her!
